The Grey Plow

Great location far enough away from the square to be quiet but close enough to walk. Lots of space and lovely pool. Nice and clean.

The light switch in the kitchen doesn’t work. The light switches for some rooms don’t make sense. The shower is ultra sensitive (either very hot or too cold) and hard to step into as the bath is very wide. The hot tub is not in a communal area but rather on the deck of the unit 2 and so cannot be used without encroaching on the neighbours. Cannot reach the plugs for the main room so had to charge things in a different room. No safe to put valuables. Neighbours dogs barked most of the night

Dogs barking all over the area at midnight and early mornings. Crappy beds Swimming pool was dirty Arrived there and the toilet was not flushed Kitchen top shelves was dirty and dusty as well as the closet shelve in the large rooms. Unacceptable! So there is no way to relax or sleep a full night because of uncomfortable beds and barking dogs. Dogs cannot be controlled but cleanliness and comfort can for the money we had to pay. As someone in the buisness of accommodation I would suggest the owner pay some attention to this as they make good money on tourism in Clarens. If I wanted a dirty place and unflushed toilets if go to a damn backpackers

The hot tub was awesome

I think the 2 units should be booked together. Especially in Summer when you want to use the pool. It is in front of unit 1

Our stay at Grey Plow was lovely! Self check in was super easy! The pool and outside area absolutely beautiful. Lots of attention to detail and very comfortable beds. The unit itself was spacious, clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend!

The house is clean, spacious and well-presented. The view from the balcony was stunning with a beautiful braai area, outside seating, gorgeous hot tub and pool. The beds were comfy and the house was nice and clean. Overall, a wonderful stay

We didn't seem to have water for most of the stay but that could be an issue in the area - overall it didn't dampen our stay. Host communication could have been a bit better/ friendlier but not a major issue
