Only niggle were the patio chairs. ~They were really camping stools and not suitable for sitting in for long periods of time.

The location was beautiful. We loved sitting around the fire pit at night taking in the incredible night sky. What a gem of a place and l'll go back!!

Location is great. House has all you need

They were so fixated on check out times. Upon the 3rd time telling me to leave no later than 10am (in a dedicated text at 9pm, take note I didn't even ask for a late checkout) I replied asking them to stop chasing us away, it's rude. I then received a message from the manager to treat their staff with respect, really, just for sending this text? It made me feel like I was in trouble with the principle like a child. Please learn how to value your guests. I want to relax not get bombarded with texts. I even received a +-6 minute voice note upon booking. With remarks about us only staying for 1 night. Please change your policy if you don't want 1 night stays. We were traveling through and decided to spend the night. I find this frustrating as we were told to check in at 3pm, 1 hour later than Booking.com check in time. I managed to negotiate 2pm, even this was remarked as a "miracle" if the place was ready. Really disappointed in the way this was handled, when I brought this up with the manager I was told that it is so common that guests don't check out in time. This sounds like a big generalization. Unfortunately our night was turned into an uncomfortable stay as we felt unwelcomed. We ended up speaking most of the night about how this could have been handled better including having a reusable text with all hotel info in it, we should have rather had a relaxing stay.
