Parkong entrance. Big metal piece middle of driveway. Only 10mm from each side of garage entrance. Left side big trailer parked and Scratched my new car which will cost me R20 000 to panelbeater

Excellent location, superb view and close choice for restaurants and cafes/bars Felt secure and safe friendly concierge All aspects well explained by host (directions, local shops and restaurants, taxi and facilities) Mid-stay clean was welcome appreciated the input of Michelle who was often around the complex

Would benefit from more cooking things in the kitchen (mixing bowl, jug for example) Had one electricity cut as power was not topped up Moved twin room around slightly to fit in extra bedside table for space to put things - most likely a room with kids in mind rather than two adults

A Wonderful Stay at On the Beach Hout Bay I had a great stay at On the Beach Hout Bay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The appartment was well-appointed, with plenty of space to relax. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having a view of the ocean right from my window was a real highlight. The bed was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and inviting. The beachfront location is fantastic – perfect for morning walks along the shore or enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Hout Bay. Restaurants, cafes, and local attractions are all within easy reach, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Our host was warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. They were happy to provide tips on local activities and dining options, which made my visit even more enjoyable. The property offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. While it’s not a full-service hotel with extensive amenities, the combination of comfort, location, and friendly service more than makes up for it. On the Beach Hout Bay is a lovely spot for anyone looking to unwind by the sea. With its fantastic location, comfortable rooms, and welcoming staff, it’s a great choice for a relaxing getaway.

One thing to be aware of is the sound of the generator which runs when there is no load shedding. While it’s not overly loud, it’s noticeable. However, this seems common in the area, and on the plus side, it ensures you still have power for essential needs — a definite advantage given the circumstances.

The host was very helpful for any queries, explained everthing and nothing was too much trouble. The location was amazing, right on the front, great views and close to all amenities. Underground secure parking was also great to have.
