Whalehaven is light bright, airy and very beautifully appointed with everything you need for a home away from home stay. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Kalk Bay with everything in walking distance. A real treat is the stunning sea views from the front and the beautiful mountain views from the back. Louise was very helpful and immediately available on whatsapp when I had a question. I would highly recommend Whalehaven and would stay there again.

The apartment is very central to everything from quaint village shops, restaurants and bars to mountain and seaside walks to surfing or an icy dip in the tidal pools.

Second stay at Whalehaven, I’m sure we’ll be back again! Lovely location, right on the ocean and easy to access restaurants etc wonderfully appointed, and great hosts.

In true kalk bay style only on street parking, but that’s not really a huge issue. noise from the restaurants and main road is a factor to consider but is the price one pays for such a great location. luckily the bedrooms at the back of the property are quite peaceful.
