Apartment was modern, spacious, had all the appliances we needed and was very clean. After booking the host phoned and let me know what is needed and the day before check-in she phoned again and explained the processes of checking in and answered all the questions i had. She also prepared like a booklet thingy with all the information needed.

The air-cons in the 2 bedrooms work fine but the one in the living doesn’t work. We were there on a very very hot weekend and sitting in a living room with was horrible. This made our stay not comfortable and it like seemed the host is aware of the problem, not sure why it’s not fixed before renting the place to people. On the second day we had load shedding, the emergency light was provided but it didn’t have the 3 AAA batteries It needs to work and we ended up using our phones. We checked out Monday morning, phoned the host that day was told breakage fee refund will be paid following day (Tuesday) is all was in order. Tuesday and Wednesday there was no communication and late Wednesday i contacted her to check and she said all was confirmed to be in order but I don’t know why i wasn’t refunded on Tuesday as promised. I only received it on Thursday. Communication of our breakage fee refund could have been better.

The apartment looked way better in person, the balcony views are beautiful. The complex itself is amazing with 3 pools and amazing views on the rooftop deck. I found the accommodation to be fairly priced. The host is great, kept us up to date with everything we needed to know or do after we booked.

The apartment was well furnished and the host was friendly. The security is tight, so you always feel safe.

The apartment is well-equipped and spacious, very neat, exciting walking trail to the beach (+- 2km)

It was difficult to like anything, the apartment was not fit for use without aircons, it was extremely hot, and you could not open the sliding doors at night as the Neighbours were smoking weed and the smell moves to the flat.

The check in process with the guards was painful and they gave us the wrong parking bays, the host did not provide us the numbers until I called the next day to verify! The kitchen had an ant infestation. The washing machine leaks. The host was no help and extremely rude and unaccommodating, and the aircons don't work. The host knew the aircons did not work and still rented the apartment without disclosing such information. Apartment not suitable for use without aircons, the main room has very thin curtains you cannot sleep in as the sun kills you and the Neighbours smoke weed so you cannot open the sliding doors at night to get some air.
