There was nothing not to like we absolutely loved it

Everything about 21 Heather Road was faultless! The facilities, the spaciousness and the views were unrivaled. Melanie and hubby were amazing hosts. As we were overnighting after a MTB event, our bikes were dirty - an offer was made to even wash them!!!! The attention to detail is brilliant too. Ice in the deep freeze, milk in the fridge and enough wood to braai for plenty peeps! Nothing was missed.

Should have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved our stay at 21 Heather Road. We had traveled to George to attend a wedding and could not have picked a better place to stay at. It's located in a beautiful, quiet area but at the same time, close enough to the shops, mall, restaurants etc. The room is actually not a room, it is a one bedroom flat and it is equipped with everything that you could possibly need. Would have loved to make use of the braai area but unfortunately time did not allow us to do that. We did, however, make use of the lovely little fireplace in the lounge that warmed up the entire place. There was more than enough wood provided to keep the fireplace going and have a decent braai if you so choose. The premises itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained and on top of that, it is very safe and secure. Just a word of warning though, beware of the 2 dogs..no, they are not aggressive in any way...they are more likely to sneak into your place and steal some of your snacks when you are not looking haha! But, when leaving or entering the premises they trick you into thinking that they will calmly remain where they are and as soon as that gate opens they will bolt and race up the road. We had such a good laugh one night when that happened to us and shortly after they managed to pull off their escape, the owners boy also came flying out trying to round them up again. Fortunately, we were assured that this happens relatively often and the escapees will eventually return back home. We were so relieved when we heard that because as funny as it was, we felt really bad for letting them get out. The owners are really awesome people..friendly, kind, welcoming and willing to help with whatever they possibly can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We will definitely stay here again should we need accommodation in George ever again. If you're looking for a place, book here, you will not be disappointed!
