Palm Tree Self-Catering Apartment

On arrival we received a friendly and welcoming reception by Marc, the owner. The private unit has absolutely stunning views and is in a perfect fabulous location. Pristine clean, neat, comfortable spacious accommodation. Stoep with charcoal braai a winner. Will definitely return.

The host Marc was friendly and welcoming. Great view from the apartment, especially at sunset. The place was really neat and well maintained. The bedroom is spacious with a high ceiling. The apartment has ceiling, pedestal fans and an a available. There is little to no noise from neighbors, save for some owls at night. The kitchen is well appointed with all the utensils you might need. There is sunscreen provided for adults and kids. There are a few books to pick up should you have some down time. The patio furniture is sturdy and there is a small washing line to dry off clothes after swimming. There is a pool on the property with a fantastic view of the mountains. The place was safe with cctv monitors.

Not specifically dislikes but rather things to consider: The water can run cold depending on how long/hot your showers are. The bed is quite firm and can take a night to adjust to. Pillows are great but soft so bring some along if you think you might need them. There is street parking 3m away from the entrance door. The covered parking provided is narrow and can be challenging for larger vehicles. There is noise from cars/bikes driving by on the road below the apartment. It is silent if you close the windows and patio door though. The braai unit was a bit flimsy but will likely be replaced soon according to the owner.

Marc is amazing, we hit it off immediately and briefly chatted about our backgrounds and so forth, upon our arrival. He made us feel comfortable. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. The view from the balcony is the main attraction, it was amazing sitting there around sunset and sunrise having your coffee. The place is spacious enough, safe and that area was peaceful.

This place is perfect!

Even though the owners were there the apartment is totally on its own and very peaceful and quiet and that is what we actually wanted.Its also very neat and tidy and well looked after.The bed was very nice and comfortable and there were more than enough cushions and blankets.The kitchen was well equipped and clean.The living room was comfortable and we could watch all our favorite programs on dstv.Our most favorite of all was the balcony with the perfect sea view.

Wish we could've spent more time there
