Olive and Vine Farm Cottage

Close and convenient to town and wine farms

We just stayed for one night and we have to come back. It has been a very nice stay. The Cottage is cozy and very well cared for. It has lovely small details. The Equipment is just perfect. You have a private fireplace for barbeque and a very nice outdoor bathtub. The Farm with its views and atmosphere is great to stroll around. It is close to town and the Vinetram. Sophia is a lovely host.

The cottage is very spacious and equipped with everything we needed. It has the most beautiful outdoor views and the dogs were very friendly and cute. We really enjoyed our stay and will gladly return.

It is a beautiful gem, so relaxing and value for money. Sophia out host was friendly and helpful. Will recommend to anyone wanting to escape the city life.

We had such a great stay here! It's always wonderful to stay in a place where there is effort put into making the guests as comfortable and happy as possible. Big and spacious, huge kitchen and lounge, very clean, comfortable bed equipped with everything you could need in any season, extras provided (shampoo, coffee, milk, rusks, olive oil, etc.). Very friendly and responsive host, perfect location, quiet area and beautiful views.

Nestled amidst the picturesque mountains of Franschhoek, my stay at Sophia's cottage was nothing short of enchanting. From the moment I arrived, startled and still unsure if I was in the right place, Sophia's warm hospitality enveloped me, making me feel like a cherished guest. The cottage itself exuded rustic charm, with cozy interiors and with everything one may need. I even had breakfast every day with some delicious South African husks, gently left there as a treat. It was a fantastic good-valued retreat for celebrating my friends' wedding at Boschendal, which was just 15 minutes drive away. But what truly set my experience apart was Sophia herself. Not only was she a gracious host, but she also shared my faith and my quirky sense of humor. When I encountered car troubles during my stay, she kindly assisted me, demonstrating her genuine care. Her adorable dogs added an extra layer of charm to my stay, greeting me with wagging tails and playful antics. One day I was up until late just playing with them in the garden. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Olive and Vine’s cottage to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat in Franschhoek. Whether you're attending a wedding at Boschendal or simply seeking solace amidst nature, this hidden gem is sure to exceed your expectations.
