Everything you could possibly need is there. Full kitchen, clean bedding and private quiet surroundings. Very secure for your pets even for a Husky. We know now why it’s called ‘mossel’!

"Peaceful and relaxing experience with the doggies right next to the ocean"

Access to the beach was easy and effortless with the doggies. The accommodation is pet safe and I did not have to worry about the dogs getting into mischief. Extremely close to the sea (no view) and you could hear the ocean, as if it's right next to you.

No indoor braai facilities for those cold rainy nights. Unfortunately you cannot park your car right next to the flat and it was and effort to carry all the luggage to the flat.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mossel – the Gem of Yzerfontein! 🌊 The place was exceptionally clean, and the view—combined with the short walk to the beach—was simply amazing. It truly made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family, and we’re already looking forward to coming back! Thank you for making our visit so memorable!

BEST 100% pet friendly accomodation out of all places we visited before. Right on pet friendly beach. Very clean and super safe location. Thankyou for all your kindness, treats and help with anything I asked.

The location is the best, and the fact that there is a closed in area for pets. Lovely manicured lawn, which doggies LOVED, just sitting on the grass and enjoying the nature. Simple but perfect! Has everything one would need for a beach stay and many extra's, Doggie treats, sweeties, and Wine to choose from with an Honesty jar - great touch! Thank you!
