The property was absolutely breathtaking, peaceful and very clean. We had the pleasure of choosing between the 5 different dams to do fly fishing which was a bonus. Our cabin gave a warm homie feeling and was perfect for a weeks stay, especially being fully equipped with the essentials.

"Nice weekend retreat"

Nice wood accommodations close to the trout waters. Ample wood and cozy fireplace. Gas backup is provided in case of load shedding.

The dam in front of the accommodation was not productive in regards fishing and the other dams only by float-tube (although you can rent these). We were on our way back from Dullstroom and I have to say that the fishing does not hold a candle to that of Dullstroom (selected areas of course). It might be a good idea to have some ventilation in the huts since not everyone realises that they need to crack a window when the fireplace is going. No internet and you need to bring your own decoder if you want to watch TV (which I cannot imagine you would want to...)

"A perfect winter getaway!"

Cosy cottage tucked away in the mountains, with unlimited wood supply to keep the fireplace burning on those cold winter days (and nights). The host was patient with us and made sure to direct us to the cottage well after our expected ETA.

Power outage from 6am to 11am every morning put a damper on things but there is a gas stove to make coffee in that time.
