Baia da Luz- ground floor apartment

Very convenient to the pool area and Alloro.

The Camper Van site and the dogs barking at night. The police visited the site while we were there. Left us feeling nervous.

Nice apartment with direct access to swimming pool.

When reserving this apartment it stated there were 2 bathrooms - they are not - there is only 1. Similar 1 bathroom apartments on this complex are available at considerably lower prices (we cancelled one of these to book this apartment). The apartment is through an agency - they had not told the reception about our booking when we arrived and we had to call them to get this arranged. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor but we did not complain about this. I would not book through this agency again.

Our second time at Baja. This apartment was better on ground floor. Blockbout shutters were great for lingerie lie inside. Location is perfect for access to the beach.

We couldn't get the TV to work. We didn't try too hard. Instructions would have been useful. Couldn't switch it on.

Baía da Luz is a good resort.

The apartment was quite small. From recollection the advertisement did not indicate that there was only one bathroom between two bedrooms. Due to a family bereavement we had to leave the apartment early.We left a wedding ring behind in the apartment. Neither the agency used by the owner or reception at Baia da Luz were helpful and in fact told us that the room had been cleaned and there was no jewellery there. Only for a friend was staying for a few extra days and insisted on getting access did we manage to retrieve the ring.
