Bower On Becket - Couples Retreat

Cottage is totally separate from the main house which works well for both owners and guests. Accommodation was made for our very late arrival. Very roomy with everything one needs. Location was an easy walk to the beach and close to the golf course which is why we were there.

Very clean, quite spacious for 2 people, but 3 adults would be cramped, good quality bedding, hot water came easily, good water pressure in the shower, everything you need to cook and clean in the kitchen, nice decor with a homey feel, lots of powerpoints, selection of board games and DVDs, host eager to ensure your needs are taken care of. Quiet neighbourhood, and the resident dogs are quiet. Split system works well.

Needs more storage for clothing, the dresser I thought was for clothing, but had games in it that could have been better stored where the videos were, large gaps in curtains and blinds letting in a lot of sun early in the morning, access to streaming services are provided but the access we found were from past guests that forgot to log out LOL, was told to park in the left of the driveway, and this is also the instruction in the manual inside the bungalow, but then was told to park my car on the nature strip (I had no problem with that, but the email and manual need to be clarified), bed was very wide, but my partner who is 6'2" found his feet stuck over the end of the bed. So, it is a great bed, but maybe not for the very tall.

The place was gorgeous and modern, lots of natural lighting. The hosts were wonderful and very close to town.

Beautiful, cosy yet spacious set up. Everything you could ask for and more. Great location and owners were very welcoming and helpful. Gave us lots of privacy but were always there to assist. Would definitely recommend / stay here again if back in the area.

Comfy bed. Smart TV. Spacious. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Microwave.

Small shower, small towels.No towel rails only hooks made it difficult to have dry towels. No heater in bathroom.
