"No initial access to the premises + noisy on site building works ruined our stay."

The guy managing the flat sent me an email which didn't arrive because I had no mobile data, and getting in was a total disaster. The security guy on the gate could not hear me via the emergency number, so I had to shout and he still didn't hear me. I had pre-paid and it was embarrassing. Thankfully, someone let me in, probably because my car was accidentally blocking other vehicular access as there's only one gate in or out.

Communications by other means, instead of just relying on someone traveling being able to access email only. Noisy and intrusive Building works for Two days running, and awful comms. I was eventually refunded one nights stay, but two types of building works ruined our stay. I also discovered that you can book this place a lot cheaper by googling it and NOT using booking.com if that helps?
