Breakfast is not included as it is a self-catering property. I absolutely loved the way the units are built and laid out. It gave us a true rustic bush experience, but with comfortable amenities. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful and the hosts (Alicia and Dirk) are warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful.

I can't think of a single thing I didn't like.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The place is a lot bigger than it looks in the photos, and everything was very clean and tidy. I would come here again in a heartbeat.

The fact that self check in was an option but when it came to it the woman had much attitude when we asked for unit number and lock box code and then lied to my wife about me being rude

The keys were easy to find, and the access process was quick and convenient. However, when we arrived, our unit was already occupied — it seems we were double-booked. Someone else was already in our place.

The stay was really nice, and the hosts were very helpful — they answered the phone immediately and made a plan straight away. It seems there might have been a cable fault that caused the hot water issue, but hopefully they noticed that we cleaned the kitchen equipment nicely before leaving. We couldn’t shower because of the hot water problem, and we also noticed there wasn’t an egg spatula, but it wasn’t a big issue — we laughed and made jokes about it. The lights can be cleaned as there is some spider webs BUT we also understand they had to make a plan as we were in the wrong room - SO perhaps they could not have cleaned it as wish before our arrival - but overall NICE & acceptable. We also want to apologize for the bit of noise after 10 p.m. We honestly didn’t realize how clearly sound travels in the quiet outdoor setting. We truly didn’t mean to disturb anyone. Overall, we had a pleasant and peaceful stay. We just needed a place to rest, and it was perfect for that. I also really loved the rustic style inside — it added such a cozy touch.

The road to the property is poor.
