Shabby Chic

Furnishings were tasteful. Host friendly and available.

No TV or radio. The oven/microwave was stuck under a counter and was very awkward to use, especially as the cord was rather short so plugging it in was tricky.

The property is nearer to the sea and it is easy to access.

The Shabby Chic is a 10 minute walk to the main beach front and restaurants, located in a quiet area of Muizenberg.

I loved the place in its entirety, it was beautiful, but what I loved most, was the host's kind heart. She is such a humble and beautiful person inside and out. The effort she put in to make us feel welcome and how she helped us out when my baby ended up in the hospital, can't be described in words. Thank you so so much Alexa. We will definitely go again and we will never forget you.🌻🌻🌻 I also love the fact that there is no tv, which gave us as a family no choice but to spend time with one another and that was super special. If you're a lover of reading like I am, you won't dare to complain. There's a whole shelf of a variety of books to choose from.🤓 Another bonus is the bed. I haven't slept like that in a while. I will wholeheartedly recommend Shabby Chic to anyone wanting to visit Muizenberg. I only have good things to say about our stay.

Shabby Chic is comfortable and well equipped with everything you need (would've loved a gas heater when the cold front hit, though). The location and doggy park across the road are all bonuses. Alexa is a super host!👌
