Lovely hosts of an exceptional, cosy, spacious, welcoming home in a prime spot right across the beach and river ; all the comforts one needs and breathtaking views which make it impossible not to relax and feel energised after a stay at Beachcastle. We will definitely be back to relax in this gem.

Beautiful view Large flat

I could not get access to the room! I informed them when I was arriving, they didn't respond although the messages arrived. Waited at the closed door, for them to only respond hours later. The main duty of the guesthouse is that you can have access to it! Their attitude was appalIingly poor. They never even apologized. I only got access just before 8pm, they failed to inform me about loadshedding and didn't even provide any backup light. Coffee was totally stale for months and I left the cockroach under the glass so they can see. All the cupboards were open as they tried to get rid of the terrible musty smell the place had. The owners clearly could not care less and just overcharge because of the view. Don't be fooled by the view, you want to book a place that you can access, especially after driving a whole day. BTW, I had to contact customer service to be able to list a review so I think they somehow block guests when they know they can expect a bad review. I definitely would not recommend this guesthouse.

The location is super, facilities are good

The apartment was bigger than we expected from the photos and it was very well equipped. The balcony had a fabulous view of the beach and sea. Our hosts were very welcoming and recommended some lovely places to eat.
