Pros • Convenient accommodation setup (flat layout). • Basic amenities available. Cons • Property in need of proper maintenance rather than quick fixes (e.g., cupboards swollen from damp were just patched over). • Very old and uncomfortable mattress with springs pressing through. • Carpets in the rooms were unhygienic. • Couches were extremely worn and left you feeling uncomfortable and unclean when sitting on them. • Bathroom mirrors had visible age-related stains. • Decor style was very dated and gave the flat a neglected feel. • Overall atmosphere made it difficult to relax—felt more cringeworthy than comfortable. Basic items like cutlery, mugs, and plates did not match, adding to the cheap impression.
