Pont de Val Lux Self Catering by Dragonfly

Saturday Morning I had to call reception around 12H00 to ask when will room be clean as I was about to prepare myself to attend the wedding. I was late to the wedding due to the staff of Ponte De Val. I'm very very disappointed.

Enjoyed the walk to the breakfast area, had a chance to see the area and to plan for my next visit. Friendly staff and area so easy to go around. Food not too complicated.

Nothing, exceeded my expectations no complaints

Parking is not marked properly, people take your parking and you can’t even locate them. Security doesn’t really know how to track vehicles correct parking spots

The location of Pont de Val is stunning, offering a beautiful view overlooking the pool and river. The park next to the resort was also a great feature, providing decent equipment that kept the kids entertained. Our room was well-equipped, with good amenities for a self-catering unit, including high-speed internet and smart TVs in both bedrooms. The river cruise was a highlight of our stay, and the kids especially enjoyed the opportunity to "drive" the boat for a bit.

Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Despite requesting early check-in, the communication was poor. Although we were told that an early check-in might be possible, we never received any updates, and we ended up waiting in the park till lunchtime. Lunch at the restaurant was also a let-down, as my medium-rare rib eye arrived well done. We then waited in the car until the standard check-in time of 3 PM. The check-in process at 3 PM was confusing and frustrating. I was directed to another part of the property but found no staff there to assist, which led to unnecessary back-and-forth. While the room was mostly clean, some areas, like the top of the tiles behind the towel rack, were dusty, which ended up dirtying our towels. Additionally, for a family of four, only two 500ml bottles of water were provided in the fridge, which felt insufficient.

The reception staff were excellent. I did not expect to interact much with them, since the check in instructions said to get the key from security. However, security redirected us to the kindest of people who ensured that our stay was exceptional and comfortable at all times. I'm grateful to Suzan, sho continuously went the extra mile even at breakfast and lunch. Her kindness is not unnoticed.

The soaps were not refilled before our stay, or even during. It wasn't too big of a deal as we had brought our own toiletries. The toilet brush handle was also broken.

Very beautiful. Our boat cruise guy Kenneth was amazing.
