De gastvrijheid springt eruit, net als de prachtige tuin en het heerlijke zwembad. Overal zijn fijne plekjes om neer te strijken met een bubbeltje of een glas wijn. En dan het ontbijt… absoluut een feest om de dag mee te beginnen! Het is ook nog eens een kindvriendelijk verblijf, de kindjes mochten vroeg in de ochtend mee de dieren eten geven. En er is overal wel een leuk hoekje te vinden waar de kids zich goed hebben vermaakt.

We had a wonderful stay at San Gabriel Homestead! A truly exceptional place, incredibly lovingly and tastefully designed, with animals, extensive gardens, a great location for excursions and super friendly hosts, who made us feel incredibly welcome from the first moment and helped us with the best recommendation for activities, restaurants and events. Thank you for the wonderful time, we will definitely be back!

Our host met us and gave us a tour of the property and the history of the homestead.

Loved the animals that was our favorite part.

The rooms, although designed with a farmstead theme, felt outdated and overly rustic for the price. There was very little privacy, and the host’s demeanour came across as rude and passive-aggressive. While the room cleaning was appreciated, it was done without any notification, which made us uncomfortable as we would have preferred to secure our valuables beforehand. Breakfast times are set according to the host’s preference rather than the guests’, and there is no option to choose your meal the host decides what is served. Additionally, breakfast is taken communally with other guests, which we found unusual. Unfortunately, we will not be returning

We LOVED our stay. It was like something out of a fairytale. The cottages, the small details, the delicious home cooked breakfast served at a family table. It was unreal. When can we come back?
