San Gabriel Homestead

Beautiful farm and family cottage. Super friendly host who prepared a lovely breakfast for us and gave great tips regarding attractions in the area. The cottage is furnished with antiques, even the high chair and crib. It was very comfortable and we can only recommend staying there while being in the area.

This accomodation is simply amazing. It is probably one of the most beautiful places we have been to. The furnishing, the atmosphere and the picturesque surrounding make it a wonderful place. Renier and his wife will make sure you feel totally comfortable and at home. Thank you guys for the amazing stay, the lovingly prepared breakfast and especially thank you for showing us around and letting our little daughter pet the farm animals. A dreamy stay! I stumbled upon it and so glad I did. Wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy all that they offer, so will definitely be back! The breakfast is a real treat and feast to enjoy!

Absolutely everything! It was our first family holiday with our 1 year old so we were a bit nervous about everything. Renier greeted us on arrival along with all the dogs and two turkeys, and we just knew we were in the best of places. The grounds and sounds of the homestead are stunning, and we just wish we’d stayed there for longer than 1 night. The facilities were impeccable, the book of information/recommendations was really perfect and we are so so grateful for having been provided with a highchair, a cot, and the bowls/cups/spoon for our daughter. Renier & Shané really thought of everything and we were so relaxed which was quite something when you’re with a 1 year old!

The stay was incredible. The family manages to create such a familiar, open, and pleasant atmosphere. It's like coming home. They run the farm with so much love and passion and try everything to make their guests feel at home. It's super child- and family-friendly, but also a great place for everyone else to relax and enjoy an inspiring time. The breakfast is outstanding and made with so much love. It's an 11/10 for us! We hope to make it back there again! Thank you so much for everything.

Very good lazy breakfasts. Renier a great hot and breakfast chef.

Steps inside cottage were dangerous, because they were unmarked. I suggest they should be with white tape.
