Chapmans Corner Studio

The property is beautiful and clean, has everything you need to have a nice stay. There is a kitchen, a little terrace on the roof, the bed is big and comfortable. While the apartment is technically in the same house, it is well isolated from the other parts of the house and has a dedicated parking spot and a separate entry. The beach is about 10 minutes walk from the property, and halfway to the beach there is a couple of restaurants, a wine shop and a craft beer brewery with a bar, so you've got places to go in the evening. The host, Barbara, was super pleasant and helpful and I really enjoyed the stay.

Nothing serious, maybe some tiny ants here and there and the keys were a bit bulky to carry around (but hey! you don't lose them!).

I loved the location as I know Noordhoek well. Although, in truth, I was unaware that I was booking at peak season, namely holiday season and that the Two Oceans Marathon was taking place, so accommodation was at a premium. Nevertheless, I had transport and I love Noordhoek and the cost of my stay was affordable and well worth it. Barbara was a lovely host, who, during the inclement weather offered to dry my smalls for me and even offered to help remove a rust stain from a blouse I'd been gifted! The unit also had a jar of delicious rusks, which I wolfed down with relish ;) The bed was a nest of warmth and coziness and Barbara brought in a gas heater to add to the warmth as the temperature had dropped somewhat (although I wasn't cold, I just rather fancied the extra warmth of a 'fire'.)

The one thing I think needs to be mentioned is that there is a rather steep flight of steps, as the unit is above the garage. In the rain they are slightly slippery and when carrying a heavy suitcase this posed a challenge, even more so when descending as there is no rail.

Wonderful location, comfortable, well appointed, quiet, private, stylish.

Clean and comfortable unit with everything you need for your stay. Rusks provided were very good.

clever use of color, well thought out use of space, outside space was lovely, independent front door, easy access, toiletries in bathroom, fantastic shower - plants - felt safe and secure
