Lamabeach city farm

The apartment is beautiful... but not a place to live in. We were bitterly disappointed. The shower had a drainage problem that's been there for a long time, according to what the cleaning lady said. Everytime we used the tap in the kitchen or used the washing machine, there would be water and dirt gushing out of the shower drain and overlapping onto the bathroom floor; it was disgusting, and sometimes it happened while one of us was showering, and we had a toddler with us . The electricity kept tripping everytime the kettle and stove were switched on, or when just two stove plates were being used. Every time. Which meant we spent so much time just preparing a simple meal and missed out on exploring the city more. Lack of communication. There were so many things missing from the apartment and we had to always ask everytime we needed something: dish soap, hand washing soap, an ironing board. These are things that should have been in the apartment when we arrived, or at least it should have been explained that they would be available only upon demand. Lack of essential kitchen items. For a self-catering apartment, the number of cooking items was really low. We only had one big pot, and two pans, one of which was already damaged and didn't cook eggs well. We sometimes ate out instead. Needless to say, the lack of proper management of this apartment ruined our overall experience in Cape Town and I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially unit 4.

Loved our apartment on the upper floor. We had 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the garden. Beautiful garden and pool. Loved the llamas, chickens and peacocks . Kept clean and friendly staff.

Some items missing from the apartment such as hairdryer and iron which would have made the stay easier but this did not detract from a wonderful stay and would stay again.

The spacious apartment and the garden, pool and lama maddow were the best. The location is perfect to visit Cape Town sights.
