Phoenix Rising Apartment

The Property Owner brought to my attention the need to book Tuesday November 29 if I wanted to have access to the apartment at 2:20am upon arrival at Tambo International Airport. The Owner also introduced an Uber driver that could pick me from the airport to the property. I also like the fact that the property is clean.

Despite booking November 29, and the Owner forgot to give me access code required to enter the estate and then the property. Both the driver and myself called the Owner repeatedly from about 4am until 5am, and the Owner did not pick any of our calls. The Security refused to allow the driver to bring me into the estate without the Access code. So, the Driver, after spending over 60mins (after 5am) trying to get access code, and while running late for his next appointment, dropped me on the road. I had told the Owner how security was important to me, and so asked for a secure driver. The fact that the Driver had to drop me on the road meant that my life was not safe that morning. I had to beg the Security team to let me into the estate compound even though I paid for Nov 29. After 6am, the Property Owner complained to the driver that we should never have called him. The driver told him that he did not provide access code, and it was after checking that he apologised for not sending the Access Code. But it was not the apology that was important, it was for him to understand the pain he put us (driver and myself) through which he really felt it was nothing. Had I been robbed on the road after the driver dropped me off, what would have happened to me? In addition, one would expect that the Owner would be extremely helpful, but this was also not the case. I don't live in South Africa and so not used to how DSTV is operated in apartments. So, I contacted the Owner and complained about not having access to DSTV and he told me that I needed to have brought my account and I said I don't have an account. I asked for his assistance regarding gaining access to DSTV channel. But he was unwilling to help with this. He simply ignored me. In fact, anytime I needed some form of help, my texts were ignored without any just reason.
