Thornbay accommodation

The property is ocean facing and there is a small beach just across the road down the hill. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location

The position of the accommodation is excellent. absolutely wonderful sunsets . Good balcony braai. The fish shop aroind the corner has lots of choices .We picked yellowtail steaks and they were delicious.

unfortunately , we could not get a groundfloor apartment as they were booked,which meant I had to climb the stairs which for me with a disability was not easy

We loved the location of this accommodation, right across the road from the ocean, and in walking distance to a couple of excellent restaurants. Iur hosts, Michelle and Janine, went out of their way to accommodate us and our dog, Jinx. A lovely stay overall.

Just a couple of minor things. The space felt a bit tight, although considering what we paid, it was excellent value for money. The main letdown was no hot water in the shower. We had a freezing cold shower on a fairly cold morning. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful place with the loveliest hosts! We initially planned to stay for just one night but quickly decided to extend our stay. The accommodation is not overly fancy, but it has everything you need, with a bed that guarantees a fantastic night's sleep and the ocean practically on your doorstep! The area is peaceful and quiet—an ideal spot to relax and unwind. If our travel plans had allowed, we would have stayed even longer. Highly recommended!
