Beach Park Apartments

Clean and tidy but dated, apart from the bathroom which has obviously had a makeover at some point. The welcome pack was a nice touch. Quiet to the point of feeling a bit isolated.

Although close to one end of the beach, the town with restaurants and supermarkets are a 20 minute walk away at the other end of the beach. German television only with slow wi-fi so no chance of streaming any English TV. Although being the only people on site over the Christmas period we were given the smallest apartment with the poorest view. None of our enquiries, on the number given, were answered. Shower in the bath with no slip mat supplied made it difficult to shower. Broken lock on patio door meant putting shutters down every time we left the apartment.

Lighting in the main room poor. Only a small lamp for the whole room and kitchen

Ease of check in, and the apartment was ready at 11am and we were allowed access early even though check in isn't until 4pm

Sofa was incredibly uncomfortable, television channels were all in German, no brush or vacuum to help us keep the place clean/tidy, bin in bathroom falling a part, soap in bathroom dispenser was watered down hugely, shower curtain messy

Location was fantastic with great access to beach, bars and restaurants. Bed very comfortable. Quiet and peaceful accommodation.

Apartment cutlery and crockery really basic and mismatched. Not particularly clean (I had to clear plug holes to get rid of smells). Door to bathroom falling off hinges. No welcome pack. Outside furniture of poor quality and uncomfortable. Pool area needed attention with broken tiles causing a trip hazard, pool not particularly clean. Vending area not stocked.

Excellent location close to beach and town. Comfortable bed.

If there was a caretaker, we never saw them. The apartment wasn't serviced in any way (no clean sheets etc.) during a 9 night stay. Umbrella on balcony not useable as the stand had rusted through. Basic equiping (No spare pedal bin liners, shampoo, conditioner, washing up liquid) Old dusty car, clearly not belonging to a guest, taking up limited parking space.
