Cecile's Cottage at Cefn Tilla Court, Usk

this cottage met all our needs privacy, easy to find, peaceful, cosy - the log fire was delightful and the hot tub worth paying the extra fee for the use (we understand the cost on electricity these days) The setting is so beautiful for a leisurely walk and we were allowed to take our small jack russell who enjoyed the walks and the warmth of the cottage.

This is minor and does not impact us ever staying there again as we want to go back but we really could have done with some extra cutlery teaspoons and knives and forks there were only 2 of each.

Secluded setting, lovely hot tub, fireplace and garden.

Location was lovely very pretty very remote. Beds were comfortable & the hot tub was lovely.

The fridge needed a good clean, as well as the shower - Fridge had dog hairs, it had quite obviously not been cleaned for some time. Shower again probably had a quick once over. There was no one on reception when we arrived luckily there was someone who spotted us after a while, but couldn’t locate a bell to alert we were there.

The grounds are so impressive Well maintained Calm Private Peaceful The cottage and garden are so homely Hot tub and fire pit made a perfect evening Waking up to silence was amazing The perfect place to detach and unwind

Beautiful country estate that's been well maintained and has a rich history. A walk around the grounds is well worth the time and a short trip into town is a must. Lots of history and architecture to take in. Friendly locals. Lovely traditional pubs with open fires and great food.
