This is more of a personal preference but I would have liked blockout blinds but also it was a different experience waking with the sun

loved how quiet and secluded it was. unlimited firewood was great. high-end fit-out and very stylish accomodation. all off grid but wi-fi was great. one challenge was not blockout curtains which meant having a lie-in was a challenge - not an issue for us but just be aware if you're booking and are a late sleeper!

Suidster is the most incredible place to stay. If you want to get away from it all, then this is the place. The cottage is beautifully appointed and you will want for nothing except an extra day to stay longer!! Willem is a fantastic host and lives on the farm, so is there if you need him.

Not really what we didnt like but more some precautionary hints: 1. There are ticks on the farm, so please check you legs after walking on the trails above the farm, and 2. The curtains dont have block out, so light sensitive sleepers might need a eye mask, alternatively get up with the sun and take in the stunning views from your bed with a cup of coffee!!

Well maintained, quiet, and secluded accommodation. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was more than enough wood for our entire stay and then some! Comfortable bed with a fantastic view whilst listening to the fire crack on a cold day.
