One of the most stunning getaways that we’ve ever experienced and the design we instantly fell in love with! Industrial look meets modern luxury in a breathtaking natural setting with 360 degrees view. Only joy and relaxation, so peaceful and idyllic - the mountains, the fynbos, the birds and the privacy. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail were top notch and we also appreciated how well thought-through/equipped everything was. Would love to stay there forever.

It was boiling hot and there was no ice or ice trays. Our hosts did provide us with ice at no charge after a WhatsApp. The washing up facilities are completely insufficient. A tiny bathroom basin, one sponge and a quarter of a bottle of watered down dish wash liquid. You have to plug the toaster in on the floor. No knife sharpener so carving and chopping was unpleasant. No umbrella so we had to retreat inside for shade. No swimming towels. The liquid soap was half full. The vases were all empty. The unit in the kitchenette has an under counter area that has sharp edges. You need to be careful of your shins while prepping food or cooking.

I enjoyed the location a lot! It’s secluded and no one can reach you there, you can enjoy nature at its fullest:) at the same time it feels safe. The location and surroundings are just a bliss.

The house itself is not very convenient for a long stay. I don’t want to say I didn’t like something but I just want to make some comments and maybe the owner will add some stuff for next guests. I would add some things to the kitchen, like paper towel and foil, cooking oil, basically some useful things for cooking. The closest store is 25-30 min away in the town nearby and a lot of places are closed for dinner. It’s just sad to stay hungry at this beautiful house with an equipped kitchen but without a chance to cook :))) I had my own cooking oil that I bought at farmers place, but it was supposed to be a present. I had to open it for cooking:( Another thing is little bugs that are all over the place. I am a nature person and I’ve been living in Indonesia for an long time, so it’s not a problem for me to share my space with some animals and insects. But it can be a problem for someone else. I don’t know what kind of bugs are these, but I wasn’t able to open all those beautiful doors at the house. Bugs would come immediately and just stay at bed, clothes and towels. They didn’t bite tho :) Last thing is the roof. When wind blows, the roof makes a fair bit of noise. I ended up sleeping with earplugs. If you are a light sleeper, make sure you have earplugs. I didn’t expect any noises in the middle of the mountains, except natural ones :) Besides that it was a pleasant stay!

Everything about this stay was perfect. The Host was awesome to begin with, going out of his way to make our stay the best. The view, the peace, incredible nature surrounding us and of course the beautiful mountains as our view from every window was just so amazing. This beautiful open plan, modern/industrial inspired location was everything we had in mind for our honeymoon.

Honestly, I cannot think of one thing! We enjoyed every bit of it .
