The Coach House at Hillwood

A beautiful and secure location for our last couple of days in South Africa. Anthony was very easy to communicate with and was very helpful in allowing us to keep our bags at the accommodation after we checked out.

The only tiny issue was the sliding toilet door. This wasn't very private for the person using it.

Lovely property in beautiful location. Safe and secure. Well furnished and equipped and very comfortable. A great base for touring the Cape. Fantastic views. Anthony was very welcoming and helpful. Air conditioning was appreciated, as were the sun loungers by the swimming pool. We would love to come back!

Natural stone steps leading up to entrance door are a little uneven. Shouldn’t be a problem for most people, but I’d have liked a hand rail!

The coach house has everything you need. Well equipped in any areas, for example charching stations for your electronic devices or hooks in the bathroom for your clothes (I miss them so often in rented flats). Cushions and bed are very comfortable. Anthony is a great host and makes guests feeling very welcome. Constantia is a great safe place to stay, many walks in short distance, great restaurants and certainly all the lovely wineries.

A fantastic host. Small touches like the warming sherry, firewood ready to be lit, and a personal greeting.
