Beautiful place

The chalet was super clean, the accomodation was cozy and comfortable. Everything you could need was inside the unit. Great undercover parking right in front of the cottage. Beautiful garden and pool. The owners are just incredible people. They are such warm and friendly people and their guest's satisfaction and well being is a top priority for them. The accomodation is superb, safe and very central with most restaurants and shop within walking distance. I will definitely be back and can recommend Fatties & Monies to any traveller, especially tourist's from abroad.

Everything was perfect!

We were given options between two houses, one with carpet which was a no no for me due to hygienic reasons.

The house was cold, since it is winter it would have been nice to have a heater

There is no remote controlled gate to enter the property. Had to get off the vehicle to manually open or close, the gate in heavy rain. The driveway has overgrown and untrimmed trees that fall into the drive way touching the vehicle when driving through. Lots of overgrown trees, shrubs plants in and at the back of the property that is infested with mosquitoes. We were feasted on by these mosquitoes. Big ants and small ants were a nuisance, could not keep anything on the units without them getting full of ants. The unit also had an unpleasant odour. The bar fridge provided, had a very small freezer, Was just enough for the size 2 ice trays,Could not even get a pack of meat in there. However the host provided a portable fridge . The bathroom basin has a big hole that has been covered by what seemed like a piece of leather. The hot water tap was loose , you had to hold firmly when opening and closing the water. Shower was good although the caddy was flimsy and kept falling .
