Hillside Cottage

The cottage is very homely, warm and cosy. It is also very clean and well equipped with everything that you would need. The host is welcoming and very nice.

Nothing

This was by far the best self catering we have had, anywhere. From being met by hosts to quality of.... well everything. Superb! From the pictures I reckoned dinky braai looked suspect, but even that worked quite well. Great wifi kept kids happy. We packed as light as possible and didn't feel we needed anything. For people from Pretoria, take you six gun spice, food, you don't need to bring anything else.

Too short a stay!

This is a very well appointed home. We did not need anything besides our food and charcoal. The hosts thought of every need. Such a delight.

The only small issue was the creaking wooden floor at the top of the steps when we needed to use the bathroom during the night, which tended to wake others sleeping. But that is really not a big issue at all.

It was a self catering cottage, that had everything one might need. Lynette and her husband Willie met us on arrival and we received beautiful freshly baked ginger cakes to welcome us. We would love to come back and stay longer next time. Very good value for money.

Stunning location

Beautiful garden provided peace and quiet. The cottage had everything we needed and more. The pillows and mattresses are incredibly good quality and super comfortable. The host were so kind and helpful :)
