Lovely 1 Bed serviced apartment in Cambridgeshire

The lounge curtains need repair as they won’t close completely

The apartment was clean, comfortable and in a really convenient location.

No shaver socket in the bathroom, and the shower curtain could do with replacing.

Above a barbers shop and opposite a vape shop. On the High street , good location for Ely town and the cathedral. Tea , coffee , milk provided. Generally clean .

It was hot , a fan would have helped. We had the Window open but the traffic exhaust fumes filled the room and made me cough. The stairway needed a tidy and spruce up . The Bathroom needed either the Shower curtains Washing or a new one as it was stained. I would suggest a new Bright White bulb in the Bathroom as its very dull.The matress downstairs was thin and uncomfortable.. the bed space up steps would not be suitable for the Infirm or those needing the Bathroom in the night. The space was bigger than an MRI still felt constrictive , banged my head a couple of times. The booking process was difficult , multiple attempts to pay with a Card and photo ID ..booking.com blamed the agency doing the booking the agency blamed booking.com. Finally confirmation and told to ignore requests for “ another Card” or photo evidence..

Good location. Small space but with nice sized bathroom and the loft bed made it feel more spacious

Some attention to detail was lacking. Curtains had been pulled off the rings and not put back, bottom of shower curtain was moldy, packets of coffee milk way past expiration date, sofa had big dip in it when you would sit down, cabinet door in kitchen had been pulled off the hinges and not repaired. There was no portable fan and it was quite warm. To be fair, the host was very responsive in communications and I would not be surprised if a fan was brought to us if we had asked. Still, would have been nice to not have to ask.

Excellent location and comfy

Only one of the windows can be opened about 8cm, and the smoke alarm is very sensitive. At the same time, the range hood is loud but not working, so that I set off the alarm when I boiled a boiled egg. I am very sorry for this. Everything else is good and it will not affect my booking again.

We did like the location, the amenities that the kitchen had and how fast were the staff answering my queries.

The lightning of the toilet because is very dark and that we were a little bit cold inside the apartment.

Excellent location, right in the middle of Ely. Free coffee and tea! Comfortable living room.

The kitchen was quite new and well equipped. The sitting room was comfortable enough and the bathroom was fine.

The bedroom is a terrible design. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before I booked. The bed is a mattress (comfortable enough in itself) on a mezzanine floor accessed by a very narrow staircase. The mattress is as wide as the room so you cannot move around the bed and there is only about 5ft headroom. If there are 2 people in the bed one has to climb over the other to get out which is not what you want during the night.

Clean and tidy with good cooking facilities, and in a good central location.

The bed is on a platform which is difficult to climb up to. The stairs to reach the apartment are very dark.
