The Cross Keys

The property was absolutely stunning; spotless inside, with plush beds across all the bedrooms, two sofas in a spacious lounge. It was easy to switch off and digitally detox. The sounds from the pub downstairs were homely and comforting (as were the sounds of the birds nesting nearby!). There was easy road access to nearby towns and attractions, too.

Very spacious and staff extremely helpful even trying to go the extra for us to provide us food even though they were busy

We weren't told until we arrived there would be music Saturday night it was loud in the flat until 11.30 then just people talking till midnight

The location was beautiful with great views. The apartment is a lot bigger than it looks on the pictures and the hosts were extremely friendly and cheerful. They also provided a great welcome basket with cookies, cakes and a loaf of bread. There was also milk in the fridge when we arrived! We were very pleased with our stay and thought it was great value for money.

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night so there was noise from the pub (which is to be expected) but it was just the general hubbub of conversation (like falling asleep to white noise). There was no loud music or anything like that

The flat was so spacious , with lovely furnished large rooms with 2 bathrooms and good walk in shower. The kitchen was also large with farmhouse style kitchen table and enough dishes and appliances. Overall very comfortable and warm . Great for meeting up with family or friends. Had a great stay.

Comfortable, clean accommodation above a village pub. The pub serves excellent food and the staff are lovely and friendly.
