Great stay. Spacious, very clean apartment in a perfect location near the beach and Lagos. Comfortable beds and everything we needed. Friendly, easy communication with the owners. We’ve stayed at Baia da Luz before, but this has been our favourite apartment so far.

We were really surprised by how big the apartment was—much larger than in the photos. It was very clean. Contact with the owners was always helpful. Even in winter it was a lovely stay, and we’re already planning to come back in summer to enjoy the pools.

Super apartment close to everything.

This was our third time at Baia Da Luz and we have stayed in a different apartment each time. They are of a very high standard and very spacious. Great balcony to sit and relax on. The complex is beautiful, with a lovely pool area. The Italian restaurant on site is outstanding and they serve drinks and snacks/lunch throughout the day too. It was great to have a washing machine and also the coffee machine was a lovely touch. The owners communication was excellent and they were happy to help whenever it was needed.

We would have expected the apartment to be cleaned during our stay as this happened on our other two visits. They were cleaned after 1 week within a 2 week stay. Also to make future stays more comfortable, the fitted sheets were two small and kept coming off the bed, as were the pillow cases, these need to be replaced. The duvets on the bed could go with being replaced and new pillows purchased as they have clearly had too much use.

This is a private apartment part of a hotel/resort. Apartment has great facilities situated close to the pool area, 5-10 minute walk to town beach & restaurants. Pool bar serves good meals for kids and there were toys to use and a small playground. Praia da Luz is a small town, but good for a family with small children. Parking was excellent, also garage option.

Pool area was very windy. Can also be good if weather is very hot.

Very well furbished, couldn't find something missing from everyday gestures, from the kitchen to the bathroom to maintenance and cleaning products, everything very clean and neat. We were also gifted with a red wine bottle which was lovely. We were extremely pleased with everything.

If I could point one thing to improve, I would suggest switching the mattress on the master bedroom for a firmer one.
