Apartments Balen

Positive: quiet place, close to the beach, parking, kindness of the owner. Negative. small TV, German programs only, mattress federations, poor toilet sound insulation, toilet ventilation. Sometimes is good to have a good contact with owners. But, contact with them all the time when you leave the house or when you come in is too much.

There is plentiful parking at these apartments but you won’t need to use your car unless you want to visit other beaches as everything you want to visit lots of other beaches. You can walk to the supermarket, many restaurants and the beach. The apartment itself is spacious with a huge balcony with sunloungers and a table and chairs. The main room had two singles pushed together and a single sofa bed and air conditioning. There was a well equipped kitchen and bathroom with a fairly powerful shower and plenty of storage space. I had enquired about a hairdryer prior to arrival and so one was provided. The whole apartment could do with a little spruce up; the towels are thin and mismatched as is the bedding. This was all fairly retro in style and would benefit from being replaced. Our host was friendly and we love the lavender and olive oil. All in all this was great for a budget stay on a beautiful island.
