What’s not to like ? Where do I even start, this was to date the best getaway I’ve had and it’s thanks to this stunning unit. The hosts are so friendly and always willing to assist whenever. The unit is more beautiful in person.

This was by far the best accommodation we have stayed at in South Africa. We were on honeymoon and wanted something quiet and out of busy tourist towns. The Studio was even better than we expected, this is an off-grid, beautifully crafted, soul-revitalizing piece of heaven. Incredible experience out in the mountains. Our host was so helpful and friendly during our stay, she made extra sure that we were comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The interior design, glassware and crockery available to use is of the highest standard and there were even decent sharp knives.

Beautiful garden, beautiful view and well equipped. Lovely towels and bedding. Comfortable bed. Particularly enjoyed the birdlife and the quiet farming atmosphere. Very safe and secure.

We enjoy all wildlife but keep an eye out for Cape Crawlers (tiny scorpions). They are not dangerous and are very docile but be aware of your surroundings.

Peaceful! Food for body and soul

Beautiful studio, stunning surroundings, lovely host Barbara, well equipped kitchen and very nice bed.. Everything you need is there, including a woodburner 😊. There are numerous birds around the house, you can just sit and watch. It's a fantastic spot, ideal to relax and enjoy nature. It's easy to explore the area (garden route national park, knysna, etc.).

Nothing at all! We stayed here for 5 nights and were sad to leave.
