The apartment was nice and spacious. Its had everything we needed for our stay there.

The staff trying to accommodate my disappointment but we couldn't get another place at such short notice. Gave us another unit as the other people could not longer come. Not sure what would have happened if those people did come as unit 87 was not in a good condition.

The staff tried to accommodate after first getting a unit that was not nice at all, and the apartment outside smelt like a dead rat. The 2nd unit was better but didn't look like the pictures on Bookings.com it is older and needs refurbishment, and there are chairs in pictures on Booking.com that aren't there. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable, very lumpy, and you felt the springs. They don't give hand towels and pool towels, only 4 normal towels. I stayed at a place in Stellenbosch for the same price per night, which was much better quality than this place..one would think you should get same or better in Bellville. We wanted to stay in Bromhof to be close to family and be central to travel. Neighbour's were very noisy. I am of the opinion that this place is only there to make money and not looking at the upkeep of the apartments. On the last night there was 2 bus loads of people and it was noisy into the night over the noisy limit time which was 10pm. I will not return for sure. Reviews that were favorable was until April 2024 and now after my experience I understand. Management only changed the exterior of Serengeti but not the comfort and look of the interior. Management must look at refurbishing these apartments. The curtains tape is falling apart you can see the bits on the floor and the bed in lounge is so uncomfortable and the couch is smelly and old. Not enuf seating in the area. The bedding given in main room was broken.

Poor wifi signal inside but it worked much better outside. Noisy neighbours the last day or two but otherwise we were very comfortable there.

Best holiday accommodation in a very long time.
