The remoteness of the property and the fact that the area is so safe whilst being so remote and in the Port St John’s forest is a huge plus. The full DSTV package for the evenings and the fully equipped kitchen were super. We had a lovely braai on night one and then used the convection oven for lasagne on night 2. Suggestion: Update the cushions outside, as the outside area is lovely to sit at.

The rooms were very damp and had a mouldy smell, we understand that it is rainy season, but we purchased dehumidifiers at the local spar for night 2 and left them behind, they make a huge difference. The house could’ve been aired out before arrival. The geyser is gas which is great, but there was no control over the water mixing and temperature control, it was either incredibly hot or ice cold. Suggestion: Update your photos to match your view and selling points of the house.
