The house is exquisitely designed and decorated and very well kitted for comfort. It's a beautiful space with a wild garden and it oozes history and charm.

No complaints about the accommodation, just the town was a little quiet in the day and in the beginning of the week. It was however a quick enough (and beautiful) drive to both Robertson and Montague

The Barn is spacious. It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is well maintained and a great place to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of a small town. The host communicates well. Checking in and out was easy and efficient.

The doors and windows do not have burglar bars or security gates. There is an alarm system, I would suggest familiarizing yourself with how it works. The olive trees in front of the front stoep blocks the view of the front garden, making it very easy for criminals to enter the property unnoticed. This happened during our stay, fortunately there wasn't anything outside to steal and the guy ran away when I made a noise and switched the inside lights on.

The beautiful pictures and antiques made for an interesting and conversational stay. There was enough hand soap and germ wash , hand cream, dry cloths, etc, which is important for me The barn is styled well, and we didn't lack anything The garden was well maintained and relaxing for us to enjoy with our dog who loved the space. I'd recommend this very neat, clean and tidy interesting getaway place to anyone without reservation 😃

One bathroom made for a bit of a juggle, which we managed to adapt to admirably well. The outside shower 🚿 is a great alternative which I liked, but sadly didn't make use of

Perfect accommodation for the family, not many other options in the area where you get the whole property to yourself.

The third bedroom is tiny, so perfect for a single person(which was suitable in our case) but not a couple.

From the get-go we had a very pleasant experience. Check in was very convenient since we got detailed instructions on how to go about check in and everything was exactly as instructed and easy to find. The facilities were absolutely fantastic and everybody commented on how you really did not want for everything since there was exceptional attention to detail, down to coffee and rusks in the kitchen. We were sorry that we didn't stay longer but certainly plan on staying there again. I would gladly recommend The Barn!
