Flowers Apartment

the host was very gracious and informative. we felt safe in the apartment as all the doors and gates were locked up. we didn't feel safe after dark outdoors due to the location however it was very close to the main city and shopping and all major sites. we were very disappointed that the washing machine did not operate properly. we understand the owners blame past guest for the poor upkeep of the apartment however some repairs are in need to spruce it up. the toilet seat was broken. the kitchen faucet needs repairs. your designer couch has been well used and we can see that there is some wear and tear. some minor repairs and upkeep would make this a 4star choice. thank you for being a good host

Not so much finding the place but more difficulty on how to get into the place. Host could make instructions a little clearer and easier.

Far from old town

Although the flat was a bit distant from the main railway station and the historic city centre (15-20 minutes on foot), we didn't use public transport. It was more comfortable to use your own feet instead of waiting for the bus to come. There were three rooms in the flat (including a spacious living room) and also a large balcony. However, we didn't use it since we came to Bari in January and in the evenings it was a bit too cold to spend time outside. The fridge in the kitchen was filled with some refreshments that you could buy. After purchasing e.g. a can of Fanta, you simply had to insert coins into a special piggy bank located in the living room. Beds were really comfortable and it was really clean in the flat. We would definitely like to return there.

There might be one slight disadvantage - if you sometimes plug in too many devices at once, it can blow fuses.
