Bijoux Luxury Apartment in Old Town

Miriam, our host, is warm and friendly, offering suggestions to ensure we could make the most of our stay in Bari. The apartment is centrally located in the old town. Very spacious and comfortable. Modern interior and clean inside.

I cannot give this apartment and this host a high enough score! My husband and I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many rental apartment and this may be our favorite one of all. One thing that is certain, Miriam is absolutely the best host we have ever met! She helped us with our planning, she helped us with our luggage, and she gave us recommendations for restaurants and excursions. She responded promptly to any questions! She is simply a delight! The apartment is fantastic! The building is inside the Old Town walls, in a very old building, but the apartment has every modern amenity! It is true to the pictures – huge living room (huge smart tv), very well appointed kitchen, washing machine, nice sized bedroom with a comfortable bed and lots of closet space. There are balconies off the bedroom and kitchen…but the cherry on top is the rooftop deck! There is an automated, sliding sunroof that opens on a large deck with views of the churches and surrounding streets. Perfect space to enjoy breakfast or happy hour! 😊It is important to know that there are 43 steps from the ground floor to the apartment door but, as I said, Miriam carried to luggage up (and down on check out day) for me since I have a bad hip. The stairs were manageable on a daily basis and they are in great shape! The location within the city is fantastic…you get the feel of living in Old Town but an easy walk to other parts of the city. The apartment is great, but Miriam is phenomenal!!

There was nothing we didn't like...the stairs are the only consideration.

Miriam is incredibly kind and helpful, she gave us very detailed directions on where to park our car closest to the apartment. She met us at Basilicata San Nicola which was a beautiful welcome to Bari and to her wonderful place. I highly recommend staying here, it was a perfect landing for us to explore with the area and being in the heart of the old city was exceptional. The space is very clean and the views from the rooftop are stunning. Cathedral on one side, Basilicata on the other. We will definitely stay here again.

Host was waiting for our arrival at 6.30pm and showed us over all the details of the apartment.
