Casa Visconti

Casa Visconti is the perfect place to stay in Bari – near a bus stop connecting the city with the airport, close to the center and within walking distance from the station. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Communication with the hosts Andrea and Nicola was very good. They helped us to carry our luggage to the third floor and answered all the questions we asked. I would recommend Casa Visconti to all guests of the city looking for a good ratio between price and quality.

Andrea, the young man who manages the B&B, was exceptionally helpful and so likeable. What a lovely human. His English being great, helped enormously in a variety of ways. The B&B is in a traditional 4 storey high block, ours being on the top floor, 70 ish stone stairs later and no lift. Andrea brought shopping to our door, so no issue with carrying bags. He carried our cases and bags when we arrived and left. The apartment is traditionally furnished, the beds are very comfortable, the water pressure is excellent, air con extremely efficient, the terrace with comfortable chairs, washing line, barbecue and outside toilet with washer/dryer. A pleasant, unfit person, 20 min stroll to the Old Town, a great Espar supermarket over the road, the friendliness of every local person we came across. Just a gorgeous experience all round.

The location is more than convenient for central city exploration, yet it provides peace and quiet at night. The apartment is equipped with virtually everything one may need, more than we expected. There is a second toilet with shower accessible via the private terrace, which is super nice. Highly recommended!

It wasn’t an issue with us, but some people might find it difficult to climb the stairs to the 3rd floor.

It was very easy to communicate with the owner who responded to any questions very quickly. The service provided by Adrea was first class he helped on many occasions. Whilst situated .in a busy location the apartment was very peaceful.

We liked everything. The house has that feeling of "home away from home" which we were looking for and we found it at Casa Visconti. Andrea was super nice and friendly. He and his collegue explained everything for us when we arrived, and the following days the communication with Andrea was very good and on point. And I really appreciated the fact that they offered me a really delicious cake for my birthday. It was a really nice surprise. :)) So thank you again for making my birthday even more beautiful. And for everything. Hope to see you again soon.

As we liked everything, I don't have anything bad to say. Maybe.... we wished we could've stayed longer :)

Nicola and Andrea were so kind and so helpful, they went above an beyond to help us with any questions we had, great places to eat etc. The apartment was beautiful and spacious, a brilliant place to stay. We were in travel distance of nearby towns via train or bus. We had a great time in Bari and the surrounding areas, a fantastic trip. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Mr. Andrea met us and walked us through the property and gave us the keys. Carried our luggage up all those steps too!

It would have been nice to know that you have to go outside to get to the second bathroom. It rained some while we were there, and that was unpleasant. The lights in the kitchen were very dim.
