Woodside Retreat Serviced Apartments, 100 meters from baga river

It's nice to stay at this property and the friendly staff, has a nice location with a pool near to Baga beach.

As a family..we had a very pleasant stay at the apartment .felt like home away from home..the staff especially Mr Raju was very helpful and warm.. Though we checked in a bit late.. he was very helpful .will visit again definitely

Was a bit difficult to locate and reach by night... Tucked in a bit deep in the area

My stay at Woodside Retreat was for 4 days and 3 nights. I had travelled with my parents and a 3 year old kid and my husband. I had requested the host if I can check-in a little early as I would reach Goa by 8 am and the check-in time was 1 PM. The host told me he will try and give us the check-in by 12. Forget the early check in, I had to wait with my family and the luggage outside the premises till 1:30 PM to get the room keys. This start was very disappointing. They had a pool available but the timing was from 9 AM to 7 PM which I felt was not a good timing for people who would visit for site seeing. no one would be available in the hotel to use this facility during these hours. Room was clean and all facilities working fine. There was no issues with the housekeeping. Except the hiccups on the first day, the stay was comfortable and good.

Location of the property, enough parking space, decent Pool.

The rooms are not at all as it is shown in the pictures. The facilities are not as mentioned in the description. The cleanliness was not up to the mark. The locks of the rooms and bathroom were broken, only the main door's lock was functioning. The Door-Lock-Camera System was not functioning. AC was leaking water. The concerned manager only got the AC fixed; assured us of getting other things fixed immediately but didn't get it done throughout our stay of 4 days. As mentioned, the utensils in the kitchen were not available and we had to ask for them a lot of times before we got them. The Sofa bed was partially broken and the mattress on it was not at all comfortable for sleeping. My suggestion to whosoever decide to book this property is that first check the rooms, and facilities and then pay the remaining amount which you are supposed to on reaching the property as the manager there would ask you to pay the remaining amount first and then check-in.
