Nice, small appartament, with everything that you need. Great location and very nice host.

The bathroom is a bit of challenge.

Super short

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had a lift and then a small flight of stairs which was fine when you have luggage. Eric switched on the aircon before we arrived which made the temperature inside the flat pleasant.

Although I knew beforehand that it had a low ceiling in the bathroom, I was disappointed that there was no basin in the bathroom! we had to lean over the bath to wash our faces and brush our teeth. other option was to use the kitchen sink!!!! The doorway to the bedroom was also low (no mention of that on their site) and I felt that I had to walk around bending forward all the time. I guess you get what you pay for. Eric was friendly and helpful though.

The problem is that it wasn’t so clean, there was dust especially under the bed The bed was broken so the host had to fix it and also the entrance door can give you a headache because it s also broken.

The location was good in terms of walking distance to the old town, the shopping district and the train station. The property was very cheap, which was great but you do get what you pay for. The property is small, but this can be dealt with and is reflected in the price. This wasn’t an issue for us compared to other things.

The main issue we had was the heat - the weather had been extremely hot and the apartment was very warm, to the point it was hard to be there. We knew there was no air conditioning when booking, however the ventilation and design of the building meant that even with four fans going, it was still unbearable to be in. Eric was very kind and found a portable air conditioning unit that did help somewhat, however still I wouldn’t recommend staying in summer weather. There were many things breaking including the bed slats constantly coming off, the door handle to the main apartment door coming off, the toilet seat came off and the iron didn’t work. There were no handles on the kitchen cupboards which wasn’t ideal. The street had a lot of rubbish on it that smelt terrible in the heat. There were also often a lot of men hanging around in groups that made two girls travelling along feel uncomfortable.
