Macario Apartment in the Old Town

We loved our stay - especially the location to the authentic alleyways and view over the busy courtyard.

Only one of two bedrooms had the air conditioner in the room. The air conditioner in the hallway helped cool down the kitchen area but didn’t help cool down the second bedroom - really warm nights with June temperatures.

The apartment was charming, clean, and perfectly located in the heart of Bari’s Old Town. The cozy atmosphere and local character made the stay unforgettable.

The bathroom was a bit small and the hot water ran out quickly, but it wasn’t a big issue for a short stay.

I don’t remember anything about there being a lot of stairs to get to the room. The bed wasn’t very comfortable

It was clean. Marco the host was kind and helped us to get taxies we needed. The apartment is clean and well located in the old town.

The stairs ! It is at the top of 55 steep steps. If you are carrying heavy luggage or if you are not in shape it is an issue to consider. Another thing is that the windows don’t have black out curtains. At 5 in the morning the light comes in through the windows.
