Well equipped apartment with nice modern decor. Easy parking. 12min by car from Lake Bled centre.

Minor things.

We liked everything about this apartment. The location is great, some 5' by car to the center of Bled and mere two minutes to the Vintgar parking lot (P5). In the village, there is a bike rental shop, a bakery, and a supermarket, along with a post office and a bus stop to Bled just across the road. We came on a Sunday, when all the stores are closed, so we took advantage of the food delivery from local homesteads on Monday morning - we'd highly recommend that one :) The apartment is fully equipped, including a dishwasher and washing machine. There was ample room for a family of 4, and we had absolutely everything we needed. The communication with the hosts was fast and very efficient, we appreciated it. All in all, we were very happy with this find, with the view, the fresh air, the very considerate neighbors, the comfortable bed/fold-out couch, spare towels etc. We will come back gladly the next summer :)

As some have already mentioned in the comments...the bell. We come from a Catholic, Mediterranean country, and we're accustomed to church bells ringing. However, it did not seem very compassionate to invent a full-blast ringing-fest at 7am (7:30 on Sundays). That being said, it's really nothing some earplugs couldn't handle, as I found out. The rest of my family didn't need them, my kids and husband slept beautifully even through my swearing and promising to shoot the bell tower down once I gained world dominion 😂 We later became good friends, once I visited the church and the partisans' cemetery, and got to know a bit more about the history of the church and the bell itself, as well as of the village.
