THE MODERNIST, Architecture experience

Location and comfy bed. Decent shower, balcony good size for 2 people. Close to public transport (train and bus) Many restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk.

Lighting not great, kitchen basic. 2 main bulbs in the living room didn't work and despite informing the owners, weren't replaced during my 4 night stay.

Beautiful building with nice interior design

The interior design of the property was truly beautiful, but the numerous small paper and plastic signs throughout the space detracted from its overall elegance. While I completely understand the need for rules and guidance, the signage felt out of place against such a thoughtfully designed setting. It would be much more cohesive if all the necessary information were consolidated into a guestbook instead. Also, no hand soap in the bathroom but plenty of body soap that could be used instead.

Very chic, aesthetically pleasing, spacious room. Great to have laundry machine and kitchen facility in the room.

The location of the apartment – right in the centre of Faro – was great. The balcony overhanging the street below was lovely – with the added bonus of being able to watch the nesting storks opposite. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The whole flat was airy, very clean and well-designed. The collection of architecture books available for the guests in the apartments to borrow was also much appreciated as was the list of recommended local restaurants and cafes.

Stylish, spacious and comfortable. The guided walk and information on South Modern architecture in Faro was great and encouraged me to see and experience Faro in an unexpected way.

One of the best places I've ever stayed. I love Modernist architecture & design, and I was not disappointed with this place. They also provide a book with a modernist walking tour through Faro. This place was truly incredible, and I cannot recommend it enough!!

Came to Faro for the architecture and were rewarded with exceptional accommodation right in the heart of the town. Our view over the rooftops included a pair of nesting storks across the street. Wonderful.
