Glenfinnan - Two Bedroom Apartment

Apartment is very nice and comfortable beds and sofa. Nice furnishings and bedding towels etc. Great location and excellent regular and efficient bus service literally a few steps from front door. Nice pub just along the road and a small shop nearby for essentials. Great communication from hosts.

There was a camera indoors inside the vestibule which is not allowed under booking. Com policy. Not entirely sure it's allowed legally either. We were not informed of any cameras before our stay. A front door camera was mentioned din the welcome book but we would assume that would be outside the front door not inside th private area of the property. We could have been wandering about undressed or anything completely unaware that there was a camera indoors as we didn't see it until the 2nd day. Discussed with host at that point. They assured us there was no battery in it so it wasn't in operation. Explained to them that it made us feel very uncomfortable. They said they will consider this in future. Hosts were apologetic and very nice but as they didn't agree to remove it I feel I have to mention it in my review to make other guests aware. Apartment could have been cleaner too. A good few cobwebs in corners and cutlery drawer and kettle wernt clean, sink drain all tea stained and some cups like that too. Toilet seat very loose as well. It was clean enough regarding bedding etc but could be better. Could really use a mirror above the chest of drawers in main bedroom so there's somewhere decent to do hair and make up etc. And desperate need for hooks on backs of bathroom and bedroom doors for towels and clothing etc. Could benefit from a new set of crockery glasses cutlery and utensils too. Current one a bit tired and miss matched. Need to check they are all clean before next guests arrive etc.

Ideally located for Edinburgh without Edinburgh prices. Easy to get into town and access trains.

A lovely apartment ☺️ well worth the money. A great location as tescos was down the road and walking distance to the town centre. We loved the welcome basket, it was very clean and comfortable.

There is nothing we disliked about the apartment! All was perfect!

It was perfectly located for us within walking distance of restaurants and some pubs. We were visiting Knockhill circuit which was only 15 minutes away! Everything was clean and tidy with some lovely treats to greet us. Milk coffee and tea was provided and all the things you need in the kitchen. We were very comfy and felt at home. The host was very friendly and was on hand if I needed anything.

Everything was great although smaller bowls would be good to use for breakfast. And maybe a taller shower (only an issue for my husband who is 6ft 7!)

Location was good, easy walk to the town centre for restaurants, parking right outside the front door.

Not much we didn't like, but if you're arriving at three o'clock on a weekday it is very busy with cars picking up from the school nearby, we just parked a little way off for half an hour until we could park at the front door.

Instructions to find the place and get in very clear. Welcome box was very generous and most welcome. Second bedroom a bit small but comfortable beds all round and very well appointed apartment.

Second bedroom a bit small. No bedside table or lamp next to bed. Right on street so need to keep blinds drawn all the time.
