Cleanliness, location near to Bled lake, property with all the details top notch.

All was perfect.

On arrival we were greeted immediately by the hosts who were extremely kind and even gave us freshly brewed coffee, homemade lemonade, some homemade liquer as well as delicious Slovenian cookies and fresh water. On being shown to our apartment, it was immediately noted how well kept the place is and also the high level of cleanliness. Throughout our stay, the towels and tablecloths were always delivered nice and clean and we always had a surprise included....once it was a jar of homemade jam, another it was a nice token for our son, amongst others. We spent good times also with the hosts, in the spectacular garden, at times in the morning, others in the evening and we were always given delicious treats or a glass of wine or cup of coffee as well as impeccable advice where to visit. Once we also got a knock on the door to be surprised with a place full of freshed picked figs, which were truly delicious. Hosts also made arrangements, on their own initiatives, to organise transport for us whenever we had booked excursions with third party compnaies with whom they have no affiliation. Marjan, the owner, together with his wife Danica are the most wonderful tenants we ever met. They truly are a treasure who will do their utmost to make you have a most beautiful of stays. Cannot not mention how great they are all with children: they found the time to play with our son in the garden and also introduced him to the badminton sport. Exceptional. Will surely be back xx

The only downside was leaving the property and this beautiful family when our holiday came to an end.

Absolutely LOVED this accommodation. The hosts were all incredibly lovely and welcoming, ensuring we had the best stay. So many thoughtful touches included throughout the flat, from the welcome drinks and treats, to all the amenities provided. The flat itself is fantastic - a very traditional style and very comfortable. Loved the loft space which was very roomy, and the beds were the comfiest I've slept in in a long time. Wifi worked very well which was great as we both had to work while we visited. The bus stop is closeby, as is a supermarket and some cafes. Walking to the center of town and the lake is all an easy 10 mins away. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.

Everything!!! Marjan and Danica are exeptional hosts. We have been travelling a lot in our life, but nobody and nowhere impressed us so much. Everything was simply perfect. And the care, helpfullness and kindness could not be described by words! The property also is really superb!!! So highly-highly recommended. We will return for sure! Marjan and Danica million thanks to you again❤️

Extremely accommodating hosts, right from the off. We had the front apartment in the barn, which is small, but perfectly formed with all that you need (no oven - but there is a hob and a microwave) Absolutely immaculate and spotless. Parking spot outside which is great. The beds are really comfortable and the air con is welcome. TV has channels including English speaking ones. I had to do three sets of washing which was more than I wanted to do but we kept running out of clothes - but Danica was very helpful. Towels are replaced on request. Very close to a supermarket (not open Sunday) which also has a pharmacy and sport shop next door, and about a 15 minute walk into the main town area. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation. This family know how to provide an excellent service.

Nothing huge really. You can hear everything in the apartment next door - so earplugs might be a plan as you don't know how noisy your neighbours may be. It is worth knowing that this is somewhere that might be tricky staying if you have difficulty with stairs, as you go up one flight to the accommodation. The beds are also on a mezzanine and low to the ground. If you struggle getting up from a low position, this could be an issue. Its also easy to bang your head on the stairs/doorway so you have to be on the ball at all times.

The property and host exceeded our expectations. The husband and wife team were very welcoming and provided great ideas for local activities and restaurants.

The level of attention we revived from Marjan and family could not have been better. At check in, they welcomed us with a typical slovenia drink (Raki) and cookies! They then shared a map of the local area and they pointed out things we should do. When we were headed to our next location, they did the same. Recommending a very scenic route for us. Needless to say, all of their recommnedations were great. Now let me tell you how wonderful they really are. We had a problem with a flap that had come undone on our car and Marjan saw it and began working on it without being asked. He fixed it! To top it all, they help us with our laundry. We were treated like family. We would definately stay there again!!!

Nothing. They were more than helpful, kind and professional. We felt like were were family. I would recommend them to anyone staying in the area. The only thing we weren't happy about is that we couldn't stay longer.

Marjan and his family were the perfect hosts with a lovely welcome including homemade drinks and treats. More treats arrived unexpectedly during our stay. Lots of local information provided to make our stay in Bled very enjoyable. The garden was beautiful and made a perfect location for outdoor dining.

Out of all the places my family and I have stayed this has been hands down the cleanest, most charming and welcoming place we have ever stayed. The hosts, Danica, Marjan and Marsha, Went above and beyond our wildest expectations. We were greeted with homemade cookies, and refreshments. A bottle of wine and cookies in the room were such a sweet touch. A basket of fresh towels after a couple days was left by the doorstep.Every little detail was thought of. The hosts made us feel like friends and family. They could not have been kinder!! The pillows and bed linens were luxurious!!! I hope we can return someday ❤️

My only regret was that we did not stay longer. So much to see and do in the area. There was nothing not to like!! Just a note though that there are some stairs to get to the apartment and up to the sleeping area. Very doable, but just something to know if stairs are an issue for someone.

Very nice, friendly owners. Baked us pancakes, gave us gifts, etc... Our accomodation was de facto in a barn, but fully equipped, really nice.

There was no soundproofing, so everything can be heard from the neighbouring apartment. I do not recommend the barn apartment for tall (above 190cm) people, cause upper level can be uncomfy for them.
