Apartamentos Vila das Lagoas – Salgados

great location 10 minute walk from the Galé beach. Large 2 bedroom apartement, with all the amenities described online (except the iron that seemed to have disappeared and was provided as soon as we asked for it). The 2 bathrooms were much appreciated, so was the balcony and the numerous swimming pools around the property. Very safe place to be with family, easy to find. We will go back.

One needs to pay attention to the door of the fridge, which doesn't close well. We let the management know. Also for stays longer than a couple of days, do buy toilet paper as what is left in the apartment is the bare minimum!

Had everything we needed for a chilled family holiday. The appointment was spacious and comfortable. Only 5 mins walk to beach and restaurants

We really enjoyed the surroundings and the well looked after grounds, activities available no info given by agent.

8 day stay no room service or clean sheets or towel changes, so guess who did it. Apartment Badly soundproofed you can hear neighbour snoring and so much noise all through the night. I requested a clean shower curtain it was gross, apartment was not cleaned, floors were stained and filthy. Lack of maintenance is a shame. no information about local facilities is very poor. Everytime we went out, door entry hit and Miss they will not repair it apparently, neighbours came out to help us. Property company wouldn’t allow us to pay by debit card and requested we withdraw £1k cash for them. Wanted to cancel at that point but they had our cc details. Will return not with them. staff were nice enough but obvious the owners are not checking the property.
